A chartered building services engineer with over 25 years’ experience, James heads up BakerHicks’ Mechanical Services team. He has extensive and practical design experience in a wide variety of projects, including those in highly regulated life sciences, rail, power and defence industries.
James is skilled at pooling the best resources at the right time for a project and enjoys overseeing the development of his staff, ensuring they have the right tools, training and experience they need to deliver. Naturally innovative in his approach, his specialist knowledge of HVAC and low carbon design has seen him manage numerous, state-of-the-art schemes in both the UK and internationally.
